Early Breakthrough Sets the Tone
The visitors wasted no time imposing their authority on the match. Operating with fluid movement across the frontline, Barcelona Women quickly pinned Sevilla back into their own half. The breakthrough arrived in the 9th minute when Esmee Brugts clinically finished off a well-crafted attacking sequence to give the Catalan side an early lead.
Sevilla tried valiantly to close down the spaces and absorb the relentless pressure, but Barcelona’s midfield control remained absolute. As the first half drew to a close, the visitors struck a devastating blow with a quick double-strike right before the interval. Clàudia Pina doubled the advantage in the 47th minute (stoppage time), followed closely by veteran defender Marta Torrejón, who headed home in the 50th minute to leave Barcelona comfortably ahead 3-0 at halftime.

In the 55th minute, young sensation Vicky López put the result beyond any doubt, adding Barcelona’s fourth goal of the afternoon with a composed strike. With a commanding lead secured, the technical staff utilized the depth of the bench, introducing fresh legs to comfortably see out the remainder of the match. The comprehensive victory highlights Barcelona’s strong early-season form as they continue their march toward another successful domestic campaign.
