WHAT IS TELEPASS ROAD ASSISTANCE AND WHAT IS IT FOR?
Service Roadside assistance Telepasswhich can be activated on request by family and business customers with an increase in the price of the fee and reserved for vehicles up to 35 cents (excluding buses), allows obtaining free mechanical assistance in the event of a breakdown, fire or accident on the motorway and normal roads plus a range of other benefits such as replacement car, hotel costs, and medical consultation. Roadside Assistance can be Italy only”, i.e. valid exclusively on our national territory, or extended to EU/EEA countries. In the first case, it costs €1.50 per month, and in the second, €2 per month (excluding the Telepass Family or Business fee).
TELEPASS FAMILY: ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WILL INCREASE IN 2024 ONLY IN ITALY (AND NOT ONLY)
However, as already mentioned, starting from March 1, 2024, The roadside assistance service of Telepass, which is only in Italy, will be strengthened cost increase of €0.50/month “dictated by the need to improve service quality standardsâ€, as written in the communication sent to customers, therefore we are switching to €2/month. Telepass encourages customers to read the Proposal for Unilateral Modification of Terms of Service stating that the latter will be considered accepted if the customer does not withdraw from the contract by 2/29/2024 without any burden or cost of deactivation. Therefore, the mechanism of tacit consent is applied: if no appeal is made within the specified period, the change will be considered accepted.
We remember that from January 1, 2024 supply is also increasing Easy telepass it will pass from €2 to €2.50 per month for new and existing customers.
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

In the meantime, we would like to point out that to use Road assistance service you have to call the number 800.108.108 (or 02.26609135) and tell us your data, phone number, and card code found in the Telepass application or in a dedicated section of the website, brand, model, and license plate number vehicle connected to the Telepass device on which you want to activate the assistance service and the type of service required (Italy or Europe only). Once the customer has been identified and the validity of the request has been verified, the service center will provide an authorization code, the so-called Dossier Number, to which you must always refer to use the service.
