Cockpit with Csms (Cyber ​​​​Security Management System), which was born from the collaboration between Lg and Cybellum, the latter brand active in the world of automotive cyber security and acquired by Lg in 2021, monitors and guarantees the cyber security of vehicles. The sophisticated solution simplifies the management of cybersecurity activities and incident response, ensuring vehicles remain digitally secure and fully compliant with evolving cybersecurity regulations.

Cyber security in the automotive sector is an area of ​​increasing importance that is destined to take a central role in the field of mobility with the recent entry into force of a specific regulation.

All vehicles manufactured from July 2024 will therefore have to meet the new cyber security standards to gain type approval, which will be a prerequisite for sales in 54 countries including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea. the South Korean tech giant and Cybellum have created Cockpit with Csms, a complete platform that addresses the numerous challenges related to cybersecurity management in the automotive sector.

Can quickly identify security vulnerabilities, proactively monitor and take preventive measures to prevent potential threats; furthermore, it can analyze vehicle components during its life cycle (approximately 20 years), generate and manage a complete database from development to real use. The platform automatically manages security issues and monitors response effectiveness, enabling real-time risk detection and application of control protocols for each component. The cockpit also serves as a control center for product safety—from monitoring to control—allowing automakers to quickly assess and address any safety threats and proactively analyze newly identified threats and their potential impact on components, improving overall safety reliability.
