Rog has announced the Italian availability of two exclusive gaming peripherals that have been developed to offer more comfort to every gamer and increase performance in the game: the Strix Scope II 96 wireless keyboard and the Moonstone Ace L pad.
Rog Strix scope II 96 Wireless
This compact keyboard offers exceptional versatility and presents itself in a completely original way with a 96% layout that keeps all function keys and the numeric keypad intact while enclosing them in a “space-saving” design. The Nx Snow mechanical switches, pre-lubricated and hot-swappable (so they can also be easily replaced by installing your favorite switches if needed), guarantee fast actuation, excellent and linear typing, and improved key stability. Built-in sound-absorbing foam and switch dampening pad absorb clinking and echoing sounds, helping to improve keyboard acoustics.
The resulting typing feel is exceptional, thanks to pre-lubricated low-friction stabilizers that allow for smoother typing and greater key stability.
The switches feature ABS keycaps, but here with an innovative UV-coated finish that provides a premium feel to the touch and offers significantly more durability over time. The Strix Scope II 96 Wireless kicks off a brand new range of keyboards in the Scope family, joined by the Strix Scope II and Strix Scope II Rx models, which differ in that they both offer a 100% traditional layout and feature the same switches Nx Snow, but combined with an exclusively wired connection in the first, while mechanical optical switches of the Rx Red type and a USB connection in the second.
Other key improvements and tweaks include a layer of damping silicone foam for the bottom of the case, as well as an extra layer of damping on the circuit boards and integrated switch damping pads underneath to improve keystroke acoustics. The keyboard also includes a multi-function button and an adjustment wheel for controlling multimedia such as volume or lighting. In addition, the F1-F5 keys are pre-programmed as hotkeys for the Xbox Game Bar and recording functions.
Strix Scope II 96 Wireless offers three different connection modes to suit the needs or preferences of each user, in each usage scenario: wired via USB port, wireless Bluetooth, or low-latency wireless connection via 2.4 GHz RF mode In the latter case, SpeedNova technology optimizes connection quality and stability as well as battery life to offer more than 1500 hours of smooth and uninterrupted gameplay. The exclusive Omni Receiver enables multiple wireless connections with compatible devices through a single USB dongle without compromising performance.
Rog moonstone ace L
Behind this name hides one of the most original products in the new Rog arsenal: it is a tempered glass gaming pad that offers perfect smoothness and super fast mouse movements, completely frictionless but also super precise. Made of 9h tempered glass, it offers natural impact and scratch resistance. With a sober and minimal appearance, yet unique and distinctive, the mat has a smooth and matte surface that can offer exceptional durability and fluidity. These features are especially beneficial for FPS players who prefer a lower DPI setting of the mouse sensor for more precise control when aiming or during more millimeter movements. The special coating on the glass surface also reduces any possible friction or noise created by the mouse sliding, making the movements on the pad even quieter and the game without interference.
An exclusive silicone coating on the base completely covers the extension of the mouse pad, also enriched with an elegant Rog-themed texture, ensuring that the pad always stays firmly in place, so you never miss a step. The keyboards are already available at a price from 149.90 to 189.90 euros depending on the variant. The Moonstone Ace L pad is also now available for €119.90.
