With Decree of Prime Minister No. 224 of September 25, 2023, the Decree of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of August 4, 2023, on “Delineation of the university and academic track for the preparatory training of teachers of lower and lower secondary schools, to fulfill the goals of the National Plan,” was published in the Official Gazette on Recovery and Resilience.
The Decree of the Prime Minister regulates the methods of activation and implementation of educational courses, which are summarized below:
Qualifying courses: 60 CFU
Those who are enrolled in study courses for the same qualification can regularly access the reservation of places for teachers who have worked for at least 3 years in the previous 5 years. Experienced teacher candidates who have passed certain competitive tests. The path involves earning at least 10 CFU/CFA in the teaching field and 20 credits between direct and indirect practice.
Transitional training courses of 30 CFU for teachers qualified for another level or class of competition or specialized in support
Aimed at teachers who are already qualified for another competitive class or another level of education or specialization. Thus, it allows you to acquire contents that relate to the field of didactic methods and technologies applied to the reference discipline.
A training permit worth 30 credits
It is intended for teachers who have completed three years of service in the last five years, including at least one in a specific competitive class, and for those who have passed the competitive test of the “extraordinaire bis” competition.
30 CFU transitional education courses for new graduates or those who have not earned 24 CFU
Suitably qualified applicants who have not obtained 24 CFU/CFA by October 2022 must be able to access competitions announced by the end of 2024.
It is about acquiring pedagogical, didactic, and methodical skills. For the transitional phase, the courses will be completed by February 28, 2024.
30 or 36 CFU/CFA training courses for competition winners who entered without already qualifying
Aimed at contest winners who are not yet qualified. The courses are structured as follows:
-30 CFU for participants with entry qualification + 3 years of service in the last 5 years in a public school, one of which is a specific competitive class;
-30 CFU for competition participants who received 30 CFU/CFA according to point 4;
-36 CFU for participants with entry qualification + 24 CFU earned by 31 October 2022.
