From cooperation between Ducati and Bentley the exclusive Diavel V4 version was born. Is called Ducati Diavel for Bentley and will be produced in a limited series: 500+50 copies, the latter reserved for Bentley customers only. Price? Well, 58 thousand euros. The bike was unveiled to the public at an off-show event during Art Basel week in Miami Beach.
Manufacturer Borgo Panigale says this special model features a look inspired by the Bentley Batur. The design is the result of joint work between Ducati Style Center and Bentley designers. The Ducati Diavel for Bentley is offered in a Scarab Green color and is only available on Bentley Mulliners. The bike is also equipped with specific forged rims that have the design of the car and are also painted in the same Dark Titanium Satin.
The air intake grilles resemble the two-tone grille, one of Batur’s signature features, while the triangular rear exhausts refer to the corresponding elements located above the car’s sill. Ducati says:
The front fender and the top of the tank reproduce the ribs on the hood, the small fairing is inspired by the connection of the windshield with the hood, while the single-seater rear, which can be replaced by a passenger seat, adopts the concept of the double layer of the rear extractor of the ‘car.
For many parts of this exclusive model, such as fenders, headlight cover, engine cover, exhaust and radiator, conveyors, tip, side panels, and rear, Ducati used carbon fiber. The motorcycle seat is covered in black Alcantara and is inspired, says Ducati, by the Bentley interior. The English brand logo is embroidered on the back pad. For this model, Ducati also redesigned the exhausts.
The model name and progressive example number are shown on a label inserted into the carbon fiber fairing of the vertical head on the right side of the motorcycle. Both the instrument panel, equipped with a navigator as standard, and the rear combined lights offer a special animation when switched on. Finally, each specimen will be delivered in an exclusive personal wooden case.
However, the mechanics do not change. The Ducati Diavel for Bentley has an engine 1158cc V4 GranTurismo able to deliver 168 HP. The collaboration also led to the creation of the Capsule Collection, dedicated to the Diavel for Bentley owners, which includes a limited edition jet helmet and technical jacket.
